What DRX means for the Alps

🏔️

Defend

Protecting ancient Alpine forests from deforestation, climate stress, and industrial pressure. We advocate for legal protection zones and wildlife corridors across the Swiss Alps.

🌱

Restore

Reforestation with native species — Swiss pine, larch, and fir. Since 2022, we’ve planted over 48,000 trees in degraded alpine zones, reviving fragile ecosystems.

🦌

eXpand

Creating green corridors to connect fragmented habitats. Expanding natural forests ensures survival for ibex, lynx, and countless endemic species.

DRX.ovh is more than a domain — it’s a commitment. Every hectare restored, every sapling protected. We combine science, community, and technology to give the Alps a resilient future.

Our story · Rooted in the Alps

🌲 A century of loss, a decade of hope

🏔️ 2022 — First patrol
A group of foresters and activists mapped endangered ancient pine stands in Valais.

🌿 2023 — 10k trees planted
First major reforestation campaign in collaboration with local communities.

🦊 2025 — Alpine Rewilding Hub
DRX established permanent nurseries and research stations in Graubünden.

🌍 2026 — Global alliance
Now partnering with Swiss Parks, ETH Zurich, and alpine municipalities.

📖 Our philosophy

The Alps are Europe’s water tower and a sanctuary of biodiversity. But rising temperatures and land-use changes threaten this fragile web. DRX works hands-on with mountain communities to restore natural forest structures, protect watersheds, and create climate-resilient woodlands.

We believe forests heal when we listen. Our work blends traditional alpine knowledge with cutting-edge ecology. Because saving the Alps means saving ourselves.
